OUR WORK
Our mission - To advocate for equal and inclusive access to education, for vulnerable children, orphans and children with disabilities. Our goal is ensure that no child suffers from neglect, violence and abuse.
Education Mindset Change Poverty Reduction Empowerment
AREAS WE WORK
We work with low income communities that have vulnerable children with extremely low literacy levels. Most children in these areas lack education partly due to lack of resources, lack of interest and also due to lack of reading materials.
Learn how our library stocked with story books, games, puzzles and art crafts goes mobile in various communities, reaching community schools and orphanages to improve literacy levels. Using the mobile libraries, we have access to more information about the children and their home environments. This helps us understand and help children.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Our work involves supporting community schools, orphanages and teachers with literacy materials and resources that excite children in school and attracts those who are not in school, to enroll. Mobile library visits also include talks on hygiene, gender based violence, mental health, climate action, career and motivational talks.
LITERACY
We create Libraries for Children to help improve literacy. Computer/ Information technology is an integral part of our literacy program.
ENDING PERIOD POVERTY
We have joined the fight to end period poverty by providing girls with sanitary and hygiene materials. Menstruation should not make girls miss school.
GENDER EQUALITY
We support gender equality in schools and the community. We are actively engaged in activities to end gender based violence.
POVERTY REDUCTION
We provide basic needs such as Clothes and Food. Join us in this mission to clothe and feed innocent children.
SUPPORT DISABILITY PROGRAMS
We support programs aimed at empowering children and youth with disabilities. Support has been through donations and attendance of events
ART AND SPORTS
We support children using art and sports as an incentive to the education journey. In some instances art and sport are the skills required to earn a living
QUALITY EDUCATION
We promote education for orphans, vulnerable and disabled children through provision of school fees, school supplies and uniforms .
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
We encourage and provide opportunities for vulnerable youth to empower themselves through skills development
CLIMATE ACTION
We support children's involvement in fighting climate change.
